The line oozes with personality with bold paisley printed tunic tops that are made out of vintage silks and breezy floral-printed sundresses that mold perfectly to a woman’s figure. The romantic boho line has many earthy hints such peacock feather prints and floral prints with a faded vintage feel. A popular addition for Winter Kate is the kimono house coat. These flow with designs ranging from birds to psychedelic prints.
Richie said of the inspiration behind her collaborations, “My main source of inspiration was this movie called From Hell. It’s about the Free Masons and Jack the Ripper so it’s definitely about that time. We have capes and cigarette pants, vests, jackets and blazers. There are cleaner lines and it’s a lot more simple.” She also counts Stevie Nicks and Debbie Harry as inspirations for Winter Kate.
